Practice Problems
The only way to do well in organic chemistry is to practice,
practice, practice! Even if you memorize every fact,
figure or reaction, this knowledge will be useless unless
you know how to apply it. This section of OCHeM.com
contains challenging problems (organized by topic) for
you to hone your skills. These problems are meant to
be more difficult than the average textbook
problem, so you should try them only after practicing
the ones from your textbook. Also, don't be
too quick to look at the solutions. Discuss the problems
with your classmates or use your text to try to develop
an answer. This approach will help you to learn the material
better than simply
looking up the answer each time. This webpage is a work
in progress; new problems will be added from time to
time, so check back often. The problems and answer key
are in the Adobe Acrobat format. Please report
any errors to the webmaster.
